About
Migrationology.com is a blog that serves spontaneous observations from an unplanned migration of world travel.
I am Mark Wiens (Migration Mark) and I live a spontaneous lifestyle of unplanned migrations throughout the earth. I am infatuated by the multifarious world and all the uniqueness it has to offer.
Growing up in France, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, and the USA, introduced me to a migratory behavioral pattern. After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Global Studies, I set out to pursue Migrationology.
Since then I have taken a TEFL course in Buenos Aires, trekked in Patagonia, eaten daily 2 kilo steaks in Montevideo, feasted on entire goat carcasses in Nairobi, watched lions and elephants in Tanzania, viewed Orangutan’s in Sumatra, visited stunning temples like Angkor Wat in Cambodia, taught English at camps in Thailand, volunteered in the Philippines, and engorged myself in epicurean masterpieces around the World.
I now consider myself a skilled spicy food connoisseur and a relaxing erudite. If these worthwhile activities also engross you, it would be awesome to meet!
Always try to finish a buffet; because being full is not an excuse to stop eating. -Mark Wiens (Never give up. Pursue, dream, push hard, and make things happen.) I sometimes take this quote literally too.
Goal of Migrationology
The goal of migrationology is to provide realistic advice and observations of long term travel (migrationology). I would like to demonstrate how long term travel is very feasible and that the impact and value are unparalleled. From life experiences to cultural connections to native flavors, there are infinite possibilities of global exploration for everyone. With positive habits and a modest amount of capital, you can transform a drab monotonous life into a sustainable life of traveling the world and living the life of a King.
