But after finding a good price for a flight from Addis Ababa on Ethiopian Airlines, I was thrilled to go.
Lalibela, known as the second Jerusalem, is one of the holiest and most important cities for Ethiopian Orthodox followers (the majority of the population).
The churches, carved out from the top down, are absolute masterpieces!
