Views of two main waterfalls, mists spraying in your face, and the rushing of the Niagara River all combine to give one a spectacular experience of visiting Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Walking along the cliff overlooking the river, you can easily spend hours gazing into the falls and marveling at such a masterpiece. Horseshoe Falls affords a more panoramic view of a water curtain, while American Falls is beautifully laden with sprays falling atop large rocks. Gazing at the view is another one of the world’s inspirational travel moments.

Additionally, the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario offers shopping, dining and entertainment. The falls are often still visible while roaming through the city. Enjoy a cup of coffee while strolling, and be prepared for the cool breezes flowing off the water.
One can even adventure atop the Skylon Tower for a high-up view. Boat-rides on the river towards the falls allow for a close-up experience.

While mists of water flowing off of the intense waterfalls will often make it difficult to escape without getting wet, this simply adds to the dynamic of the experience. You will see not only rushing falls but sprays of water pouring into the air. Visiting Niagara Falls is truly a sight to behold!

Stay through the evening and experience an array of lights that are shone onto the falls in shades of reds, yellows, greens, purples and blues. These enormous lights bring another level of depth to the water and specifically highlight the waterfalls.
You can see the close-up colors of the lit up city of Niagara Falls, Canada, and then look across the river and see the lights of New York state shining behind American Falls.

Anyone who enjoys the intense beauty of the water will love taking in the sights and visiting Niagara Falls, Ontario!
Have you been to Niagara Falls? Would love to hear what you thought!

Niagara Falls is such an awesome place. We are so lucky to live just an hour away from the city. We make sure we visit at least once a year and check out both sides of the falls!

Spectacular photos. I would love to visit and view it from both countries. It must be so exhilarating to go in the boat near the falls. It must be an absolutely awesome experience. On my bucket list.

I’ve been to Niagara Falls but only saw it from the US side, and that was a loooong time ago, almost 20 yrs ago. I still remember how majestic it was, though 🙂

Love the Canadian side of the falls and city – looks less touristy kitsch and more cosmopolitan Now I think I might have enjoyed them more on Canada side of the dirt

Great photos! It has been so long since I visited Niagara Falls, I had pretty much forgotten about the trip when I was on a sister-school visit way back in junior high.

Alfonz my husband took me to Niagara Falls when we started dating. He rented a brand new Jaguar at the airport and we blasted down the Highway to the falls! Our memories of that trip are vivid and the views were stunning! Everyone should put it on there bucket list!
