When it comes to Thai food (or any food for that matter), one of the greatest combinations is Som Tam (ส้มตำ) and Gai Yang (ไก่ย่าง).
Som tam is Thai green papaya salad, it’s sweet and sour, fresh and crispy. Gai yang is grilled chicken, it’s juicy, lightly salty, and always served with a chili dipping sauce. The duo, along with sticky rice, makes for one of the world’s most satisfying lunches.
