I’m a big lover of all things shrimp, so one day when I was walking through Khlong Toey Market in Bangkok, I decided to purchase a kilo of the finest jumbo shrimp to grill up.

When it comes to Thai shrimp, the head is so big because it’s the prized section.
The head is first peeled and then all the head juices and brains are first consumed – it’s buttery, creamy, and sweet!
But the body of the jumbo shrimp, dipped in spicy chili sauce, was even more spectacular!

Those prawns are mammoth. You make the peeling look so easy. Ultra-fresh, huge prawns dipped in a chili, garlic and lime sauce honestly looks to be one of the finest edible concoctions I’ve seen on the planet. If and when I get back to Bangkok, seeking out the Khlong Toey Market and those prawns will be a top priority.
