Thank you for watching!
I’ll admit it, economy rice doesn’t exactly portray the most appealing meal in the world.

But when we are talking about Malaysian food, even the typical, normal, working class food is stunningly delicious. Just like nasi campur, economy rice is a buffet variety of different dishes, but instead of being Malay curries, it’s predominantly Chinese style dishes.
In this episode of Migrationology street food TV, I drop by a little pop-up restaurant serving marvelous Chinese dishes. On my rice I chose braised tofu, stir fried water morning glory (kangkong), and black bean stewed spare ribs – the highlight of the meal.
Everything was outstanding!

Keep the videos up Mark, love them. Is there any better dish than morning glory – the more garlic and chilli the better

Hey Joe, I’m no longer in Malaysia, but when I come back to Malaysia next time, will definitely do that! I was in Melaka one time and had a cendol from a place there and it was excellent!

I’m trying to just get a taco truck to swing past my office daily for the morning breakfast taco – you are truly in heaven with the economy rice stands there. Mmmmm – I can smell it. Save a plate for me.

Hey Maria, a taco truck swinging by the office sounds pretty good too! I’ll save a plate for you!
