VIDEO: Klong Toey Market – Bangkok’s Market Madness

Thank you for watching!

Bangkok’s Klong Toey Market is one or the largest and most important markets in town. As I mentioned in the video, if you eat a meal in central Bangkok, it’s likely that many, if not all the food on your plate passed through Klong Toey at some point.

The market is most packed during the early morning, about 4 am – 7 am, but you can really go at any hour of the day to catch some market action.

Nice video. The market is extremely busy. These markets are similar to India where food items are sold on the streets. I am not a fan of fish so will try to avoid the fish section of the market. Did I actually see live frogs in the net??

Hi Shalu, yes, they do have live frogs at this market – quite popular to eat on the streets in Bangkok. I’m so excited to visit some markets like this in India someday!
