Markets around the world are amusing.

The other day I took a bus from Bangkok’s Mo Chit bus station to Aranyaprathet.

Aranyaprathet is a small town in Thailand on the border of Cambodia.

Check out the VIDEO below!

Aranyaprathet is a famous town for hopping the border to Cambodia to visit the temples of Angkor Wat, and for its gigantic open air shopping market known as Rong Kluea Market (ตลาดโรงเกลือ).

Rong Kluea Market (ตลาดโรงเกลือ) is a huge sprawling market full of fake designers goods, trinkets, clothes of all kinds, soccer shirts, and even a huge fresh food market.

Of course, you can get great Thai food at the market as well!

Bus Cost  from Bangkok to Aranyaprathet (Mo Chit bus station): 207 Thai Baht
Bus Ride: 3 – 4 hours (it took us longer due to Bangkok flooding)

Looks like a pretty standard emerging country market – a bunch of crap and great street food.
