Location: Bali, Indonesia
In an effort to buy some fresh fish and have a meal prepared by the Bali House of Life Orphanage, we headed to the central Bali fish market. It was mid morning and the fishing boats were all docked, waiting for their next fishing voyage at night. It wasn’t quite as energetic as the Dar es Salaam fish market in Tanzania, but there were some great fish and great scenery!

Quite a lot of boats but I’m sure it will look at lot less crowded once they all start to spread out in the waters. Are those nexts in the boats that are still on shore?

Yup, at night and early the morning I’m sure all the boats are out in the water. Yah, those are all fishing nets in the boats.

Great view, must be so lively during working hours! It would be so nice to watch them sailing off!

That’s an amazing sight. So many boats in one area. I bet they have to plan who goes out in which order so they don’t crash! 🙂

That’s a great thought Julia. It must be tricky if you want to get out to sea and your boat is parked closest to shore…
