@Wahu: Thanks so much Wahu! I’m glad you are able to relate to these videos and articles. I lived in Nai for about 8 years, and now when I see anything about Nairobi, I get that feeling of remembering the Nairobi style. I hope you are able to locate some nyama choma soon! Thanks again for checking out my site.

Wow,i just stumbled across your site from a friend and am hooked.I haven’t been home in just over a year ,and watching these videos and reading about home just makes me miss home so badly. It also helps that I can actually relate to where exactly your talking about. Gosh haven’t had decent nyama choma for a while. It don’t taste like home in Canada.
Thanks for this.

@Michelle: Great, hope you get a chance sometime soon!
@Jade: Yes, I agree, as the internet improves around the world, videos are becoming more and more popular, and they are great to get much more of a feel for the place. Lots of fresh produce and great Indian food in Nairobi. Thanks for watching!

Love travel videos, esp. of places I have never been. Photos are great, but videos let you feel the culture. It was really fun seeing you at all the markets- and I had no idea there was so much fresh fruit and vegetables… and Indian food!

Great video, Mark, I love it. Very well put together, and obviously I love the food heaviness of it. But please tell me you didn’t actually eat that rhino pooop?!?! 🙂

This brings back memories – I stayed in Nairobi in the very early nineties and spent most of my time in and a round Latema Rd and River Road enjoying the street food…

Very interesting video…the food looks absolutely amazing, especially the Ethiopian palette.
Music is nice, but a little jarring…I wonder of its because of the mixing. Great work anyway 🙂

Nice to see you are doing well. I just filled my stomach with really good Indian food, but this video made me want more. And man that Ethiopian food looks good!
Suggestion: if you’re planning to do more videos like this, it would be interesting to know the prices of the meals.
