Thank you for watching!

Eating Thai food is one of the top attractions in Bangkok. Located just outside of Bangkok’s mega Central World shopping center, are a series of Thai street food stalls that set up each evening.

Passed by thousands of pedestrians each day, the street food stalls are a convenient and popular place to grab dinner.

Their most prized items on the menu are the grilled “snake head” fish and the grilled chicken. Along with a side of green papaya salad and a plate of sticky rice, you’re set for a delicious meal!

I have never eaten any fish on the grill that tasted bad, no matter how ugly (as longs as it was fresh).

The prices you show on your Thailand videos looks pretty high to me, I have a friend who traveled to rural Thailand and he said prices are less than half of what you find in the capital, also I’ve been a couple of times to Philippines and its the same thing. I recommend you don’t miss the more remote areas of any country you go to!

Hey Dan, yes prices are definitely quite a bit higher in Bangkok these days. I agree, grilled fish is about as good as it can get. Thanks!

Hey great video Mark, I have eaten at these street stalls outside Central World last year, the place was packed with locals all coming out of the office. Not so many tourists because I don’t think they know how to order, but your videos are going to change all that.

I think I also had the snakehead fish and nam jim, it is really delicious as you say.

That somtam Thai looked a bit wimpy though, are you sure they didn’t lighten up on the chillies because you look like a tourist?.

What you need to order is somtam Thai prik har met with khao neo and get a plate full of that down you, to make you feel really alive.

    Keep on having fun

Hey Stephen, thanks a lot for watching the video and great to hear you also have eaten here. The snake head fish is the main attraction, and it is wonderful. As for the som tam, it was pretty good but not the best in Bangkok. Glad to hear you also love chillies!
