Sunset in Cairo, Egypt

Location: Cairo, Egypt

There’s a brilliant orange in the sky that could only be formed when the sun meets the dry heat and pollution of Cairo.

Peering at the city at dusk is flabbergasting, an infinite series of ancient looking brown buildings that are dwarfed in the distance by the perfect triangles that poke through the fire – the most ancient of them all!

Check out my photo essay of Cairo.

Yes, the vibrant color definitely protrudes through the Cairo pollution, but it does make for a wonderful sunset!

What a beautiful city! Another dream place to visit. But the recent situation is keeping city still on fire. I hope the situation will be better soon.

Truly looks ‘on fire’. There is beauty even in polution.
