(if you can’t see the video, watch khao moo daeng ข้าวหมูแดง here)
Thank you for watching!
Like I mentioned in the video, Khao Moo Daeng (ข้าวหมูแดง) is one of the most popular Thai $1 dishes.
Red barbecued pork, a few slices of crispy pork belly, and a few slices of Chinese sauge are all placed on a bed of rice and drizzled with red barbecue sauce.
The result is a meaty combination of rice, pork, and sauce that’s popular throughout Bangkok.

Hi – thanks for this video, looks delicious!
Can you pleases let us know exactly where this place is??
Hi Monica, thanks a lot for watching. This exact restaurant is in Nakhoon Patham (http://www.eatingthaifood.com/2013/02/khao-moo-daeng-in-nakhon-pathom/), but if you’re in Bangkok just look for a stall with hanging strips of red pork – and they will serve it. Here’s a good place at Victory Monument in the evenings: http://www.eatingthaifood.com/2011/12/bangkoks-fastest-street-food-a-meal-at-microphone/
