One month of filming, an entire week of editing…
…60 gigabytes of raw video, over 500 clips, and about 24-hours to upload (on my connection), and I finally present to you “25 Amazing Things To Do In Bangkok,” on video.
It’s been a huge project that I’ve spent a lot of time on, so I’m extremely happy that it’s now live.

The reason I like Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) is because you can climb the staircase to the middle level for a great view of central Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River.

Your production/narration skills have come a long way. Some of the scenes brought back memories, while others were brand new to me. After seeing this, how could a food lover not want to visit Bangkok? This is an excellent film for anyone planning to visit SE Asia’s hub.

Video is something I had no idea I enjoyed making (meaning – the process, filming, editing, narrating), until finally experimenting with it, starting about a year ago. So many times we don’t realize we enjoy something until doing it. Glad this video brought back some memories of SE Asia!

Mark; super tour! I’ve been to Bangkok several times and it’s on my very short list of best cities of the world. I would, however, add another fun thing to do: Ride the river taxis up and down the river. They not only take you somewhere but they’re a cheap sightseeing way to see the city.

Hi Mark – loved it. Hoping for my 6th Thailand visit next year. I’m rather addicted and love to see Bangkok through others eyes and for the memories!
My tip for travellers is to research all the ways to use various modes of transport and study the maps to get orientated (i.e. don’t expect to get a taxi to chinatown – go by sky-train or boat depending where you are). Work out prior to holidaying HOW you’re going to get around to specific places – no wasted time then.
And imo you can’t do Bangkok justice with a flying 3 day visit. My first time was 1 & 1/2 weeks and set me up for many more enjoyable trips to come. Each time I visit I do new things, taste new food and get to revisit my favourites.

Thank you Naz, and I appreciate you adding your extra tips. I agree with you fully, learning a bit about Thailand’s network of transportation is a great idea for getting around – taxis sometimes aren’t reliable and can just be a pain sometimes. Familiarizing yourself with a map, is also really necessary in Bangkok as there’s not just one downtown area, but many. Great to hear you’re coming back next year again!

great video mark- well worth the effort. As a follow up i’d suggest you get an image map of bangkok, and plot all those 25 places on it so potential visitors can see where they are.
