Heavenly Bowl of Japanese Ramen in Bangkok

I almost always prefer rice over noodles, but there are some instances when noodles are cooked perfectly that I fall in love. It happened to me in China with the amazing hand pulled wheat noodles and I also fell in love with this bowl of Japanese ramen from a Bangkok restaurant.

The noodles were perfectly cooked, the toppings were rich, the pork was melt-in-your-mouth and the soup was a thick rich buttery creamy liquid of nectar.

I’ve never been to Japan, but I was dreaming of it with every bite!

The black stuff in the back of the bowl are pieces of toasted seaweed.

Hey Arti! This one is not quite vegetarian… there’s some pork involved and some pork broth too. Hope you had a great Christmas as well!

Did you remember the shop’s name? Because that bowl and utensils looks awfully familiar XD ….(yet again many ramen shops in Japan use the same kind of bowls, with only shop names engraved inside or none at all)

Hey Annie, yes, it’s called Bankara Ramen. I think it is a chain restaurant from Japan, so you probably to do recognize it – great noticing that!
