Sunset in Cairo, Egypt
Location: Cairo, Egypt
There’s a brilliant orange in the sky that could only be formed when the sun meets the dry heat and pollution of Cairo.
Peering at the city at dusk is flabbergasting, an infinite series of ancient looking brown buildings that are dwarfed in the distance by the perfect triangles that poke through the fire – the most ancient of them all!
Check out my photo essay of Cairo.

Truly looks ‘on fire’. There is beauty even in polution.
Yah, I think the pollution definitely plays its part it the beauty of the sunsets in Cairo!
What a beautiful city! Another dream place to visit. But the recent situation is keeping city still on fire. I hope the situation will be better soon.

Yes, I really hope the situation clears and things get better in Cairo. If you have a chance to visit, it’s an incredible city and people are extremely kind and friendly.
wow.. gorgeous.. nevermind the fact that the red is probably due to iron polution?!
Yes, the vibrant color definitely protrudes through the Cairo pollution, but it does make for a wonderful sunset!
Beautiful picture! What time did you take it?

Wild shot, Mark. A place that I must get to someday.
