How Much Does the Durian Buffet Cost?
It depends on where you go and what plan you are on. The all you can eat durian usually costs anywhere from 10 – 25 RM per person.
Note: Make sure to ask them if the buffet is available and what the price is before getting started on the durian.

Wish we could buy them in UK. Can’t even get the dried Durian now. Also Mangosteen and Chicos. Tesco had them in one year but didn’t advertise them and then didn’t bother again. They should have taster sessions with all exotic fruits. English people won’t buy new things untilthey have tasted them.
Hey, too bad no durian. But in a city like London there sure has to be a demand for durian in some areas?

I really wanted to like durian after watching Andrew Zimmern eat it on Bizzare Foods… but it’s the trifecta of gross: nasty smell, ugly appearance, and disturbing texture.

durian is good but I hate the smell and its appearance…..

I’m 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 Caucasian, and I love to eat. I think durian smells more like a sweet fruit than a dirty sock!
my thai freinds tell me not to eat too much durian at one sitting, especially during hot weather, as durian can over heat ones body……….and it is so rich not sure how one can eat 8 durians………..555
Hey Jimmy, I know, I also hear that eating too much durian is not a great idea from lots of my Thai friends, but I think in Malaysia people eat in more quantities. I did feel a little strange, but it was too good to stop!

first time i heard of Durian buffet before. had to google the conversion of the cost of the buffet as am gonna include this on my to-do list when i travel to KL. you should also try out the durians of Davao City, Philippines too. and they normally pair Durian there with Coke. also check out Lachi’s Durian Cheesecake (also in Davao City). it’s so yummy! =)

Awesome to hear that Pier. Durian is spread all around Bangkok, often on street carts pushed throughout town. You can always find good quality durian in Chinatown (Yaowarat).
